Summer Camp Schedule

* If needed an extra Bun Grad Camp will be offered the week of June 30-July 4, 2008.

The cost of a camp is $150 per dancer/per camp and includes a camp t-shirt.  To register for a camp, please complete a camp registration form and give it to Lena at the studio or mail it along with your payment to:

You must have all your forms on file with the McGinley School of Irish Dance to enroll in a camp.  If you do not, you will need to print out the Registration Form, Medical Form and Media Form (all can be found below) and include them with your Camp enrollment along with a $25  family registration fee.  All checks should be made payable to the McGinley School of Irish Dance.

Camp Registration forms are due on or before Friday, May 23, 2008.  Registrations received after this date will be subject to a $25  late fee and may not receive a t-shirt.

The McGinley School of Irish Dance currently serves over 130 dancers in Central Pennsylvania.  We offer classes for all ages, ranging in age from 3 to adult.  We offer continuous enrollment and regularly scheduled classes meet from September through May.  If you are interested in enrolling in classes, please print the following forms, fill them out, and mail them to the address below.  If you have any questions, please contact Lena McGinley at (717) 691-1163 or lena@mcginleyirishdancers.com.

NOTE:  You also need to submit a photocopy of each dancer's birth certificate when enrolling in the McGinley School of Irish Dance.  This will be filed with the Registrar of Cumann Rince Naisiunta for Feiseanna purposes.  

All dancers must have the appropriate forms filled out each year.  To register for the 2007-08 school year, please fill out each of the above forms and mail them along with a photocopy of your birth certificate to the address listed below:

If you are new to the school or have not enrolled in sequential terms, please remember to enclose a registration fee of $25 made payable to The McGinley School of Irish Dance.

Terminology:  (note these are not literal translations, but they shall do.)

Bun Grad means "Beginner Grade"   equivalent to Beginner

Ullmhuchan means "Intermediate"  equivalent to Novice

Mean Grad means "Average Grade"  equivalent to Prizewinner

Ard Grad means "Advanced Grade"  equivalent to Preliminary Championship

Croagh Grad means "Champion Grade"  equivalent to Open Championship

NOTE:  School closings are posted on CBS and ABC 27.
