The McGinley School of Irish Dance began in 1999 when Lena McGinley, ADCRN, started teaching just six students. What began as a small Irish Dance performance troupe has grown into a successful and well-established school serving dancers throughout Central Pennsylvania.

For more than 25 years, Lena, along with her sister Annie McGinley, ODCRN, has shared a love of Irish Dance with hundreds of students—from our youngest dancers taking their very first steps at age two to competitive champions and adults discovering Irish Dance for the first time.

At McGinley, we believe Irish Dance is about more than learning steps. Our dancers are encouraged, motivated, and challenged to grow in confidence, discipline, teamwork, and perseverance while developing strong dance technique and an appreciation for Irish culture and heritage.

Whether a dancer dreams of competing at the highest levels, performing for the community, or simply dancing for the joy of it, there is a place for them at McGinley.
